Who we are

VoomReel is a free tool that lets you download publicly available Instagram videos and reels. This policy explains what data we handle.

What we collect

• Basic analytics — page views, which posts are fetched, and downloads. Your IP address is stored only as an irreversible hashed value (never in the clear), used to count unique visitors and prevent abuse.
• The link you paste — sent to our server only to look up the media; we do not store your Instagram links after processing.
• Consent choice — a small cookie remembering whether you accepted ads.

We do not require an account, and we never ask for your Instagram login or password.

Advertising cookies

If you click “Accept all”, third-party advertising partners may set cookies to show and measure ads. These load only after your consent. If you choose “Reject non-essential”, no advertising cookies are set. You can change your choice by clearing cookies for this site.

The download itself

When you download media, the file is fetched by your own browser directly from Instagram’s servers — it does not pass through us.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you may request access to or deletion of any personal data. Because we only store hashed, non-identifying data, we typically cannot link records to an individual. Contact: [email protected].
