Save Instagram Videos to Your Gallery / Camera Roll
Updated 2026-07-18
Want the video in your normal photos app so you can watch it offline or share it? Here's exactly where downloads land on each device and how to get them there.
- 1Copy the Instagram link
Tap ⋯ on the post or Reel and choose “Copy link”.
- 2Paste into VoomReel
Paste the link on the home page and tap Download.
- 3It lands in your gallery
On Android it saves to Downloads and appears in the Gallery; on iPhone the video opens so you tap Share → Save Video into your Camera Roll.
Android: gallery / Google Photos
The file downloads to your Downloads folder and shows up automatically in the Gallery and Google Photos apps. From there you can share it anywhere.
iPhone: Camera Roll
iOS opens the video instead of silently downloading. Tap the Share icon and choose “Save Video” — it goes straight into your Camera Roll / Photos.
