Want the video in your normal photos app so you can watch it offline or share it? Here's exactly where downloads land on each device and how to get them there.

On Windows or Mac, the browser saves the file to your normal Downloads folder just like any other file — there's no phone gallery involved, so from there you can move or rename it however you like.
What if it doesn't show up right away?
On some Android phones the Gallery or Google Photos app only re-scans storage periodically, so a fresh download can take a minute to appear. If it's not there yet, open the Files app and check the Downloads folder directly — the file is already saved even if the gallery app hasn't indexed it.
