How to download a LinkedIn video
- 01Copy the post's link
Open the ⋯ menu at the top of the post and choose Copy link to post. In the app, Share via and then Copy works as well.
- 02Paste it into VoomReel
Paste the link into the box at the top of this page.
- 03Download
Tap Download. A video post gives you an MP4 with its sound, in the highest-bitrate copy LinkedIn keeps; a photo post gives you every picture in it.
- 04Save it
On Android and computers it downloads straight away. On iPhone it opens in a new tab: tap Share, then Save Video.
Why use VoomReel for LinkedIn
- The best copy LinkedIn keeps: LinkedIn stores each video several times over, and the copy with the highest bitrate is the one you get.
- Every link shape works: the app's share link, the desktop post link, and the feed/update and embed addresses all lead to the same video.
- One file, sound included: LinkedIn serves video and audio together, so there is nothing to merge and nothing to go silent.
- Straight from LinkedIn: your browser fetches the file from LinkedIn's own video server, so nothing passes through ours and nothing is stored.
- No LinkedIn account needed: VoomReel never signs in; a public post's link is all it takes.
- MP3 and cover image too: save just the sound as an MP3, or the video's cover image, from the same result.
- Photo posts too: a post with pictures gives you every one of them as a JPG, including the ones behind LinkedIn's +3 tile.
LinkedIn video downloader FAQ
Which LinkedIn links work?
The app's link (linkedin.com/posts/…), the Copy link to post address from a computer (linkedin.com/feed/update/…), and embed links. Country addresses such as de.linkedin.com work too.
What quality will I get?
The highest-bitrate copy LinkedIn keeps for that video, as an MP4. Nothing is re-encoded on the way.
Does the download have sound?
Yes. LinkedIn stores its videos with the sound in the same file, so the MP4 plays exactly like the post.
Which posts can I download?
Video and photo posts that anyone can see, including people who are not signed in. If a post shows its video or photos in a private browser window, VoomReel can save it.
Can I download the photos in a LinkedIn post?
Yes. Paste the post's link and you get every picture in it as a JPG, including the ones LinkedIn hides behind its +3 tile. They come 800 pixels wide, the size LinkedIn shows signed-out visitors.
Why did a link not work?
Usually because the post is visible to signed-in members only, or it was deleted, or the link was cut short when it was copied. Open it in a private browser window: if it asks you to sign in, it is not public.
Do I need a LinkedIn account?
No. VoomReel never signs in to LinkedIn and never asks for your password.
Can I save just the audio?
Yes. After the video is found, the MP3 button saves its sound as an MP3 file.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes, in any modern browser, with nothing to install.
Is it free?
Yes, with no account and no limit.
