How to download TikTok photos
- 01Copy the post's link
In the TikTok app, tap Share on the slideshow, then Copy link. On the web, copy the address from the address bar; a photo post's address has /photo/ in it.
- 02Paste it into the box above
Tap Download. VoomReel lists every photo in the slideshow, and its sound.
- 03Save the photos
Tap Download photo on the one you want, or Download all for the whole slideshow. Photos are saved as JPEG, the sound as an MP3.
Every photo at the size TikTok keeps
A TikTok photo post keeps each picture at the size it was uploaded, and that is the file VoomReel saves: not a screenshot of your screen, and not a copy squeezed down to fit the feed.
We measured 91 photos from 17 slideshows. 80 of them were at least 1080 pixels wide, and the two most common sizes were 1440 × 2560 and 2158 × 3838, practically 4K stood on end.
A photo that was uploaded small stays small: the smallest we saw was 245 × 442, a picture someone had saved and posted again. Nothing is upscaled, so what you get is exactly what TikTok has.
The sound comes too
A slideshow plays over a sound, and the sound is in the result as its own card: tap Download sound and it saves as an MP3.
When the sound is the creator's own, it is TikTok's own MP3, passed through as it is. When it is a song from TikTok's music library, TikTok serves the clip the post uses (60 seconds on the ones we measured) as AAC, and VoomReel turns it into an MP3 on the way. Every one of the 17 slideshows came with its sound.
Only after the sound of a TikTok video? That is TikTok to MP3.
No watermark to remove
The photos are the files TikTok stores for the post, and none of the ones we checked had a TikTok logo on it, so there is nothing to strip off, and no quality lost doing it.
Text or stickers the creator put on a picture stay: they are part of the photo that was uploaded.
Where the photos land on iPhone, Android and PC
- iPhone: each photo opens in a new tab: press and hold it and choose Save to Photos. The sound goes to the Files app, under Downloads.
- Android: photos and sound download to your Downloads folder.
- Windows, Mac and Linux: they are in your browser's downloads, the photos as .jpg files and the sound as an .mp3.
Which TikTok posts work
- Photo Mode posts from public accounts: slideshows of any length; the longest we measured had 15 photos.
- Both kinds of link: the short one the app's Share button gives you (vm.tiktok.com or vt.tiktok.com), and the full tiktok.com/@name/photo/… address.
- Videos work in the same box, and have their own page: the TikTok video downloader.
- A slideshow is saved as its parts (the photos and the sound) rather than re-made into a video file.
- Private accounts and friends-only posts stay private: VoomReel never logs in to TikTok.
Photos from other sites, too
The same box saves photo posts from Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Reddit, Imgur, LinkedIn, Snapchat Stories and Douyin. For more on the format itself, see how TikTok Photo Mode posts download.
Save photos you have the right to use
A photo belongs to the person who took it. Keeping a copy for yourself is one thing; posting it again is another, and needs the owner's permission. The US Copyright Office explains where fair use begins and ends.
Why use VoomReel for TikTok photos?
- Full size: each photo at the size TikTok keeps it, up to 2158 × 3838 on the ones we measured.
- Whole slideshows: every photo in the post, one by one or all at once.
- The sound as an MP3: the slideshow's sound comes with its photos.
- No watermark: the photos are the files TikTok stores, with no TikTok logo on them.
- Straight from TikTok: the photos come to your browser directly from TikTok's servers; VoomReel never keeps a copy.
- No login, no app: it runs in your browser, and your TikTok account is never involved.
Frequently asked questions
How do I download photos from TikTok?
Copy the photo post's link, paste it into the box on this page and tap Download. Every photo in the slideshow appears with its own Download photo button, and the sound with a Download sound button.
Can I download every photo in a slideshow?
Yes. All of the slideshow's photos are listed; tap Download all to save the whole set, sound included.
What quality are the photos?
The size TikTok keeps them at, which is the size they were uploaded. Of 91 photos we measured, 80 were at least 1080 pixels wide and the largest were 2158 × 3838. Nothing is upscaled, so a photo uploaded small stays small.
Are the photos watermarked?
No. They are the files TikTok stores for the post, without a TikTok logo. Text the creator added to a picture is part of the photo and stays.
Can I get the music from a TikTok slideshow?
Yes. The sound comes with the photos as its own item, saved as an MP3.
Can I save the slideshow as a video?
Not as one video file: a photo post has no video behind it; TikTok's app plays the photos over the sound. VoomReel saves what the post is made of: every photo, and the sound.
Is this TikTok photo downloader free?
Yes. Free, with no sign-up and no app to install.
Do I need to log in to TikTok?
No. VoomReel never asks for your TikTok login, which is also why only public posts work.
Can I save photos from a private account?
No. A private account's posts are shown only to its approved followers, and VoomReel never logs in.
Do vm.tiktok.com and vt.tiktok.com links work?
Yes. The short link from the app's Share button works, and so does the full tiktok.com/@name/photo/… address.
Does the creator know I saved their photos?
No. Saving from a public post is as silent as looking at it.
